The Gentleman with Everlasting Legacies

For a gentleman at Bow View Manor.

There is always a new place

to change and to flourish.

There is always a time

to relive the past.

Sometimes,

it is not the place for me.

No matter what my memories may tell me.

A new home was the change I believe I needed,

And a new home I will leap towards.

Off to the lands across the sea,

Where people grow with the tides,

And the new emotions to build.

There hold the keys to the new works

As the times have more to encounter with

To see the changes to the world once more.

There was a founding place for a home,

A moment to relive all over again.

No one left behind me

Only beside me.

A future to see through,

And a future to follow.

To leave the destroyed home behind,

The darkest shades fade out,

through the lens once more.

The height of something more and blows lose something less.

Work changed from day to day life,

Schooling took just the same time.

Took up business and not English history,

Just didn’t study it.

Yet, there is a hero left to be known,

beneath the silver lined linen.

Its history is left to be known.

Times change

as the growth between people bloom.

Old and weary,

Waiting and counting,

as the numbers were always there.

The tapping of an old keyboard,

Ricocheting off the walls

Like magic, the words rocket through the glowing window.

A small device to find everything,

Another one to keep track of.

Waiting to write to someone around the home,

to pass the time.

There is always more time to spend after all,

More time and digits to keep track of,

And the longer the rhythm rises

Just like the tune of the music

As it sways the background lullaby.

Thank you Trevor for sharing your story with the world.

We are thankful for the time you spent telling us your legacy and I hope that more will come to know your adventures and travels across different lands.
